Honda announced recently that actress Jamie Lee Curtis was handed the keys to an FCX Clarity, a next generation hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicle. Curtis and her husband, who live in Santa Monica, California, become only the second of some 200 customers who will begin leasing the leading edge green car over the next several years. Ron Yerxa and Annette Ballester, also residents of Santa Monica, took delivery of the first FCX Clarity on July 25, 2008.
"I really wasn't expecting it to be so luxurious," said Curtis. "It's luxurious, luxurious, luxurious! I love the interior layout, design and access to controls. It is user-friendly and very modern."
Honda claims the FCX Clarity has three times the fuel efficiency of a modern gasoline powered car, with zero emissions.
